My wife is eligible to file for Citizenship on Sept 9th this year, but we are planning to go to her home country of Peru for two weeks at Chirstmas time, will this vacation break the "has resided continuously within the United States from the date of the application up to the time of admission to citizenship", assuming we haven't heard from them in the three months.
I would like to think that vacations don't, but I just want to check to make sure. Maybe it would be better to file after we get back, but I hope we don't have to wait for that.
Thanks for your help!
