Travelling to India for Delivery while N-400 is in Process

Hi

I am pregnant right now planning to India for my delivery.I am just done with the finger prints ... can some please let me know if there are any negative effects for leaving the country while naturalization in process ? Can I complete the process when I come back after my delivery on my Green Card ?
Will I have to start the process all over again ? and can I continue where I have left and also I might stay for more than 6 months in India .. how will that effect my citizenship/Green card?

If you have naturalization process going on, you should be in the US for fingerprinting, naturalization test and oath.

If you are going to be out for a long time, you will miss all that. You may or may not be able reschedule all of that and you may have to restart the process.

will staying out of country for a long time effect my green card status ? are there any complications to start the process all over again. I am done with my finger printing and waiting for my interview.
