Tax returns for current year

I'm applying for naturalization based on 5 years and have not filed tax return for 2013 yet. My interview is well before April 15th. Do I need to(should I) file return for current year before I go for interview?

It's not a requirement (copy of 2013), but the reviewer wants to be convinced that you have filed income tax returns. At very least take 2012 copy to interview.
