Travel to India on Indian PP/US PP

Hi, I am naturalized US citizen and my application for OCI is all ready - I will have to surrender my Indian Passports. The process of OCI takes about 4 to 5 months to receive my OCI card. I have a medical emergency and have to go to India immediately. What do I do? Can I use my Indian passport for travel or should I use US passport? What is legal and what is illegal? What is a good solution, please assist. TY.

You are a US citizen now. Apply for a Visitor visa at the nearest Indian consulate.
