The IV immigrant fees have to be paid for family members before their DS-260 forms can be filled out. After paying the fees, it takes a few days for the DS-260 to be "opened" for completion.

Hi, kindly help me with my concern.
I am the principal applicant and have recently been interviewed and issued an immigrant visa under E3. My spouse and son are included in my case and have a follow to join status already. We would like to fill up their DS260 and schedule their interview, however, in the summary information of the CEAC, in the IV application column, both of them have a Not Available written, hence we cannot access and fill up the DS260.
How can we fill up their DS260? WHAT do we do to access the IV application online?

Resubmitting the agent form will not cause a problem.

THE SPONSORSHIP DOCUMENTS (cover page, I-864 and supporting income and tax documents) MUST BE SENT TO THE NVC. At Embassy interview, a copy of same with any updated information should be taken to the interview.

The civil documents submittal is a separate packet to the NVC, and can be sent in same envelope of separately.

According to recent media reports (I can't find on NVC website yet), as of Nov 12, only scanned/photocopied copies of civil documents will be sent to the NVC, but the original, certified versions will now be taken to the Embassy interview.

OK, we would like to send it separately if you say that it is possible. But I wonder what to write on the cover sheet because there is part for the financial documents: AOS (that's the I-864 I suppose), IRS tax transcript, federal income tax returns, form w2 (wonder who that could be but I understand that all these documents are from my husband only), evidence of income, proof of relationship (could that be pictures besides the marriage certificate?), proof of US status, social security earnings statement and proof of assets. So I just check off that we have it but how about the second part, the supporting documents when we send it separately? What are we supposed to check off there (unavailable, not applicable or not checking off anything)? Is it possible too to send it before filling the application? I hope I don't sound too stupid I just feel like it's better to ask than have it all wrong and wait even longer. And about the original/copies - I thought that there could be only original documents they receive. I think that's not bad to send the original ones, right? You're mixing up requirements of the two packages.

1. The AOS package should contain the I-864 from primary sponsor (your husband or you?), if your husband is a "household member sponsor," then he does an I-864A. There should be a copy of most recent Federal income tax return OR TRANSCRIPT (not both), W2 form copies, proof of U.S. citizenship or Permanent Resident status of a Household Member co-sponsor (your husband, if he is not the primary sponsor), employment verification.

2. Your civil documents may be subject to a new rule of only photocopies going to the NVC, with original/certified going to the interview...depends on the instructions you received from the NVC.

i badly need your help. i wanted to do catch up for the delayed fill-up of ds 260 form after recovering from sickness. i was just starting last night but cant seem to proceed after filling the part "present work/training/education" so I went to review the entries hoping to get some clue how to proceed but I am sloppy with computers so I inadvertently submitted it without this part completed (and maybe other parts). I want to retract it because I know there are several information I have not placed there which may be the cause that the Visa will be denied. What to do???

I don't see how you could have submitted it without passing all the edits for each section.

Go back to review mode and try to fix the mistake that kept you from moving on to the next page.
