EB2 / EB3 Category

Hi Friends, I'm new into this forum and I need some guidelines on my Green card process. I’m holding Master of Science in IT from Madras University {12th Standard + 3(UG) +2(PG)}. I was told that I’m not eligible under EB2 category due to my Indian master degree which is not equivalent to US degree . Though I’ve more than 12 years of professional experience they are confirming that I’m still eligible under EB3 category only not under EB2. Also my employer will not combine two degrees (3 plus 2) to meet the four (4) year Bachelor’s provision.

Is there any way to prove that I can be part of EB2 category? I really appreciate your valuable inputs on this regard. Thank you so much and have nice day!
