    Sorry guys just want to asked one questions,can you file for your citizenship after 3 years being together with citizen of the country?

    NOOOOOO...you have to be married with good faith and have all documentation to prove it. That's the only way you can apply for citizenship based on 3 years rule.

      Thanks for the reply..yes I was in marriage with good faith and we still together up to now with a son...just asking if I can do it cos am in middle of doing my 10 years GC..and we been marriage since 2011

        Wait until you get your 10-year Green Card. The "2-year and 9-month" eligibility for Nauralization may come while you are waiting for your Removal of Conditions to be completed, and there doesn't seem to be a published rule that you must wait, but that is my suggestion.

          Thanks yeah I was hoping to wait till after I get the 10 years GC and after a month receiving it I may now file for the citizenship or what do you think?

              When you have the 10-year Green Card, and you are at least 2 years and 9 months from the "start date" shown on on the bottom of he card, you are okay to apply for Nauralization, if all other conditions are met ("continuous residency," etc.).

                Ray b those 2 years Condition GC count as part of 3 years before u file the N400 form?

                  Like example I get married in May 2012,and I receive my conditional 2 year GC in 01/02/13,and I file for the 10 years GC now..just want to asked if I get the 10 years GC..and we been living together since then up to now.. In May 15 the marriage going to be 3 years,can I apply for the citizenship then?and again my wife was born and raised in USA..ll really appreciate ur reply pls

                        You can apply for Naturalization on October 3, 2015 if your have your 10-year Green Card then.
