Hi everyone,
I have two questions regarding the date that I can file the N-400 form.
I became a permanent resident on 11-15-2009 with 5-year continuous residence completed last week, but my total physical presence is 836 days, which is about 76 days short from the 30-month requirement. The date for me to meet the solid 30-month requirement is 05-17-2015.
Questions 1:
Will it be an absolute NO if I file the N-400 form now, or is there still a chance if I do a good job at the interview?
Question 2:
Can I, in the case of filing after the 30-month requirement is met, file 90 days prior to 05-17-2015?
Thanks!
