Hello members of the forum.
I have a question on the name correction during N400.
On my Indian passport it has family name and given name and let me explain with an example.It has the Family name(xyz),example Given name as (Radha Krishna) and SS card has complete name like "xyz Radha Krishna". When it comes to the green card/permanent resident card,it has Last name(xyz), First Name(Radha), Middle initial "K" from Krishna. This is so annoying because technically there is no middle name concept in our culture.I am going to file N400 for citizenship soon and I would like to have my first name as "Radha Krishna" and I do not want any middle initial/want to get rid of this middle initial madness. My question is- will this really come under a name change on N400 because on my current passport there is no concept of middle name or middle initial.It just has a Family name and a Given name. Please advise/share your experiences.I am sure lot of Indian folks may have similar issues with names.
