Any advise on what to do?

I already went through my biometrics and received a letter about what proof to bring for interview. The Biometrics were on Oct. 28 2014. On the status page my case says uscis already set up an interview date on Dec. 1st that i should wait for the letter on the mail but never got one and already filled an application about receiving a copy of that letter as instructed if i didn't get anything by dec 31st. Is there any other actions i can take to find out why i haven't received a letter??? thank you for the help.

For what procedure are you discussing? Adjustment of Status, Naturalization, Removal of Condtions?

Does your status page say that an interview date was set on December 1, or that the interview will be on December 1?

My case is for citizenship or naturalization. this is what the status page says:
On December 1, 2014, we scheduled an interview for your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization , Receipt Number NBC*005350611. We will mail you an interview notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Last time i checked it had an extra line telling me to fill out a form for a copy of the mention letter if i didn't receive it by Dec 31st. And when i filled out that form it said to expect a response no later than Jan. 22nd. My big concern is that i will be moving out of my place at the end of the month and it worries me that i will miss the interview letter. So my question is if it's possible to get an appointment to figure out why i didn't get the letter in the first place of if there's anything wrong with my application??

You didn't get the letter because USCIS is very slow and with large workload. No goals they set for meeting timeframes can be relied upon exactly.

Ok. Thanks for the help Ray. I just had those concerns and worries because several years ago when i first came into the country with a fiancee visa someone made a mistake that delayed my case for over a year and I'd like to know if there were any ways to figure out if something like that has happened again.

Your concern is quite valid. But I think it's too early to schedule an INFOPASS appointment yet. On the other hand, you need to be prepare to do an address change and have it attached to this current Naturalization procedure.

Yes, I believe end of January is bettter, and more likely that you will get something in the interim.

You have to accept this explanation ta face value, then do everything possible to ensure that you are getting your mail.

Also, follow up by checking the USICS status page with the receipt on a weekly or more frequent basis.

I do check the uscis status page couple of times a week. Although do you think i should do an inquire on the post office about mail getting lost?? should i be concern that might be happening???
Also like i said before i would be moving at the end of the month so i'm planning on doing the change of address next week to ensure that i get the letters from uscis. i've read that changing the address would delay the process, do you have any idea about how much time would this add to the process??
                        thanks.

                          Hi there Ray!
the case status online shows that my case is in line for a interview date so things are moving. One question i have right now is about the change of address. I filled out the form for a change of address online and when i submitted the form instead of confirming my change of address it said "an error occurred contact technical support". Tried a couple of times but still the same, so i don't know if this tool only works during office hours meaning i would have to try then?? please help. Thank you.

Call the USICS help desk phone at: 1-800-375-5283 and make sure you have the receipt number for hour procedure. They are take address changes over the phone if you got bogged down doing it online.
