N400 Application After Divorce

Hi All

I moved to the US under a finance visa in 2009 and was married to a natural born US citizen for 4 years. I am now divorced and looking to apply for citizenship un the 5 year option.

My questions are...

1) Do I need to complete part 8 section F of the N-400 form?

2) In the document check list for the N-400 under the headings "If you are applying for naturalization on the basis of marriage to a U.S. citizen" and "If you were married before" they request all documents related to your marriage. Do I need to submit either or both sets of documents?

Part 8 is about "time spent outside the U.S."

Just include your divorce docs copies.

Sorry I was looking at an older version of the form. I was referring to part 9 section 9. "If you have been married before..."

Part 8 is about "time spent outside the U.S.
Just include our divorce docs copies.

You're mixing application instructions with completion of the form.

You should include copies of all divorce docs.
