  • Questions about address fields: N-400

    Hi,
i am currently filing N-400 form, i have the following questions about address fields:

    1) For part 4: 'information about residence' , if mailing address is same as where i currently live, is it advisable to write N/A in mailing address fields, or SAME AS ABOVE should also be fine?

    2) In some parts of N-400 for eg. Marital history, the country field is prepopulated with 'USA' while I am trying to write N/A in that field, trying to delete this field doesnt work in acrobat reader. All other address fields in this section are N/A since i chose 'single, never married' option. So, if all fields in an address are N/A, only the country field is prepopulated with 'USA', should it be fine, although i have no way to delete this field because adobe reader doesnt allow me to do so?

    3) In N-400 instructions it is mentioned for 'part 4: information about residence' it is mentioned: " If you do not have a State or Province, enter the name of your city again in that box. If you do not have a ZIP or Postal Code, enter "00000" in the ZIP or Postal Code box."
So, If i am filling the zip code field ('12345') for an address, shall i also put '00000' in postal code of that same address? or is it ok to leave it blank, since the postal code field mentions "foreign address only". What about state and province, if my address contains state field ('CA') do i need to put name of city ('COVINA') again in province field while province field mentions "foreign address only"?

    4) in part 11: qs 29 in N-400, my answers for qs 23-28 is 'No', so shall i write N/A in fields of table in qs 29 or leaving it blank should be fine.

My questions might appear too naive but i am confused abt the above qs and would appreciate any help.
