  • Spelling mismatched by transnational from Gujarati to Hindi for father name.

    Hi,
    I will be applying for citizenship after 6 month and then want to file (I-130) for my parents.

    But there is an issue with my father’s name (spelled) will not match.

    I used my father’s name behind my name is: KIREETBHAI (correct translation from Gujarati)

    But my father’s name in their passport and birth certificate is: KIRITBHAI (wrong tarnation and he is using this from beginning)

    Now, my question, how the USCIS will consider the proof of relationship (I-130) and is there any issue?

    Please, advise me the suggestion. Thanks in advance for your response.

    do you have birth certificate? Is it correct on there?If the certificate is in any language other than English then have it translated to English. Fathers name should also be on your marriage certificate? Any school records?

      Thank you, Jot18.

      do you have birth certificate?Is it correct on there?
      => Yes, I do have birth certificate. But it will not match with my fathers name.

      If the certificate is in any language other than English then have it translated to English.

      =>Yes, its translated from Gujarati.

      Fathers name should also be on your marriage certificate? Any school records?
      => Father name is on my marriage certificate and school records is not matched because of different spell error.

      What are the option to correct this error?
