i had a question as i am applying to be a citizen of the U.S. i filled out the forms and am ready to submit it. the question i had was i had a few problems at the Canadian border. 1 was that i didnt declare a few clothes and left over paint which was Seized by the canadian border about 2 years ago. and 2) about three years ago i was going through the tunnel the first time to canada and accidentally crossed the port with out showing my passport as there was a lot of construction going on, for which i got $1000 fine. i indicated it in the form in Part 11. Additional Information. should there be anything else i should do or send like a copy of the fine it self from the canadian border?

send the proof of payment and whether not or not it still shows on your record. -

I doubt you will be penalized, in the form of not getting your citizenship, because you have a ticket over $500. Just make sure you have a copy or your receipt of your payment. yComment
