  • A call for Health records during naturalization process.....

    Hi,
I recently got a call from US Department of Health (State Dept), by some doctor named Dr. Tripathi. He said he is asking my medical history because i have applied for the process of naturalization.
I wanted to know if it is a part of naturalization process because i feel weird about that call, the processes in US are generally proof based, why would someone call me to ask my history, when they can access my medical records?

    Any help is appreciated.

That seems quite unusual, and I have never heard of that occurring during the Naturalization processing. There are no questions on the N-400 or during a Naturalization interview related to personal health issues.

The only remote possibility that I would consider is whether you were identified as TB-positive when you received your immigrant medical exam and that you were "red-flagged" to see if you had continued with TB monitoring.

I am sure I am not TB positive

      Hi,
thank you for your reply, i can recall and i have confirmed from my previous reports that I am not TB positive, I think it is a **** call. most of the questions were regarding sexual activity, which sounds weird because it has nothing to do with naturalization. I am thinking of tracing the number I got that call from. Do you have any further suggestions regarding this issue?

      Thank you

Yes, This should be a Prank Call.
There is not need to provide medical history during Naturalization process.
Even if they want, they would send you a letter.
