  • Anxious about Naturalization interview and details i've provided in application

    Hello everyone!

As we know this process is a bit easier than other visa applications, I'm anxious irrespective of that. There are plenty of horror stories online about people have bad experiences.

I was just wondering what are the consequences of employment dates not being verified.
On 1 of the job's me or the employer don't have the exact date of starting the job/end date of the job and i entered the info to the best of my knowledge (there's a good chance the dates won't match exactly). This job was over 2 years ago and i can't seem to find any record of it (it was a cashier job for one of the private gas stations).

I was wondering how it could influence my application. and if there are any repercussions of it.

There's no need to be anxious or scared. Giving dates to the best of your ability is best you can do. They will go over your application just say yes, no big deal. Not everyone will remember the exact day or even month looking lack for years.... your honesty is the best you can remember. Relax!!! They are looking for genuine dishonesty, in situations where moral character is concern. Good luck, and congratulations.
