N400 processing at NBC?

I had to send my N400 to the field office in Dallas since I live in New York. I just received my acceptance notice from the National Benefits Center in MO. Does that mean that the case will actually be processed in MO and not at the Dallas office? I am confused as to why I had to send everything to Dallas.

That's just normal procedures. You case will process in MO and then sent to your local USCIS office, in New York.

From there you will receive information from your local office, in terms of the interview or any other thing needed to to take with you. Good luck!!

Thank you for the clarification. Just seemed weird that I didn't have to send it to MO directly.

Now I'm hoping that it won't take too long to process, but I'm not very hopeful. My removal of conditions already took almost 9 months to process.
