  • Evidence of name change during naturalisation

    Dear Members,
    Please help with the following
My sister has added a caste name to her name during naturalisation in Los angeles. She is now applying for my sibling visa . The document requirement for this visa is evidence of name change. My sister says that there was no court order given for name change during her naturalisation ceremony. Also she barely remembers if there was judge present during this ceremony.
What kind of evidence do we need to prove the name change during naturalisation process?
    Pleas help

She should contact the clerk at the court where her Naturalization took place. They should be able to pull your records and provide her a copy of Name Change Certificate.
