Yesterday Nov 30th 2015 i have my naturalization interview, after waiting since Feb 27th 2015. The IO was very nice, he went through all N400 form; i use to have 12 trips in last 5 yrs as I'm working on ships and travels a lot. However he highlighted one trip which takes more than 180 days and he says i assume this is due to nature of work? i said yes. And he continuous to the end as i pass the English test with no problems. Finally he makes me sign on 2 photos, and he said he will get approval fm his supervisor.
After 5 minutes he came back with denied application !!, the reason because i made recently make 90 day trip out USA. And as he said this is conflict with some continuous residency and physical presence. My attorney told him that this trip is out the 5 yrs requirements. so he go back to his supervisor to inform him about the attorney point view , he comes back the IO and he said you right and the denied application been withdrawal, and he said that's it you can go and will mail you to your address, but because you have a lot of trips i will run the computer , congratulations !!
The IO comes to the door and say's good bye and congratulation again!!
Now what does he mean by Run the computer are they not checked my trips before as my file been 9 months with USCIS? or they what to check the calculation of my attorney as she show i been 870 days outside the country for last 5yrs? , and if this the case why he didn't checked while the interview ??
I don't see it logic after this file been with them since February 2015 and now Dec 2015!!
