The question is:
Have you ever NOT filled a Federal, State, or local tax return since you became a Permanent Resident ?
and
if yes, did you consider yourself to be a non-U.S. resident ?
This feels like a very tricky question. I moved here when I was 19 and my dad has been supporting me ever since then. I haven't had a real job and I have been going to school
for the entire 5 years duration. He included me in his taxes, but I have never filled taxes on my own, since I had no reason to.
With that being said, I will answer "no" for the first time, but what should I answer for part b?
The reason for my not filling is that I am on my dad's taxes. I did not consider myself a non-U.S. resident, since I've been a U.S. resident for the whole time...
