I am on H1B visa and my company will file my green card on May

my wife already has citizen

which one will be faster process 1) my company files green card or 2) my wife sponsors me?

or will it be same duration

is this possible. say i filed my green card thru my company in May. i am actually getting married in dec 2006. then can i re-file the green card or may be cahnge status to make my wife sponsor or something which can faster the process. or is it not allowed??

You can file 2 green card process, one through employer and another through wife.

However, you can't take the old priority date when switching from employer based to family based.
