Hi!
My wife gave birth to our twins this month, and I'm trying to find out if i need to add them to my existing N-400 application.
I've submitted my naturalization application sometime in June, and already had my biometrics screening done, and am waiting for the interview notices.
Do i even need to add my newborns to the application? I'm wondering if i can just bring their birth certificates to the interview with me, and explain the officer that they were born after I've submitted my application. Are there any penalties for not retroactively adding this type of new information to an existing application? If i need to add my newborn children, how do i do it, i couldn't find any specific instructions on USCIS website, do i send a letter to their generic application filing address?
Any help appreciated, thanks!
