If you entered the U.S. on immigrant status when you were age 27, you do not need the status letter. Just include proof that you were 27 upon entry, with an explanation at your interview. You misinterpreted the documentation instructins.

So I got my interview notice for the beginning of January.
Among the papers to bing with me is Any Evidence of Selective Service.
As of right now Im 33 and when I got to the US I was 27. So by law I was not required to register. And honestly I had know idea that I need to obtain the Information Letter from SSS. So I sent the request but they told me that processing time is around 6 weeks. which means that I probably won't get it before interview.
Any thoughts/ experiences / ideas???
Should I write an explanation letter? Because by all my immigration papers can be seen that I was 27 when I moved here.
Thanks a lot!
