    Change interview date

Has anybody successfully change their interview date to an earlier date?

You may be able to get it rescheduled to a later date, but I doubt you'd have much luck rescheduling to an earlier date unless the circumstances were exceptional (and your representative/media was involved e.g. someone literally wants to get citizenship before they die). But I've never read of anyone on this forum (or elsewhere) who got rescheduled earlier, only later.

USCIS seem to do interviews in the order that they cleared the background checking system. Which makes sense to avoid a backlog and is arguably "fair." I don't even know if they take priority date into account as most people seem to get their interview a consistent period after for that field office (e.g. +30 days, +60 days, etc after background check finishes).
