Hello

While I am filling up the N-400 form for Citizenship, I'm bit confused with couple questions on the form. Hope someone can answer for me.

1. Marriage Certificate: My understanding from the N-400 form is that if I married more than once then I need to submit photo copy of the marriage certificate? I married once and currently living with the same spouse, so do I need to submit photo copy of the marriage certificate?
2. Children's A-Number: My kids were born here in USA so they are US citizens by born, so they won't have A-number. Is my understanding correct? or am I missing something?
3. Applying citizenship seems pretty strait forward thing, so do we really need attorney?

INCLUDE COPY OF DIVORCE DOCUMENT FROM FIRST MARRIAGE, AND MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE FOR CURRENT MARRIAGE.

IF BORN IN THE U.S., YOUR CHILDREN ARE NOT EXPECTED TO HAVE 'A' NUMBERS.

3. Applying citizenship seems pretty strait forward thing, so do we really need attorney?

IT'S ONLY A SINGLE FORM, WITH A COUPLE OF SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS. USE OF AN ATTORNEY IS OVERKILL AND ONLY HELPS HIM MAKE HIS STUDENT LOAN PAYMENTS AND MAYBE A MASSAGE EXCURSION TO THAILAND. STANDARD LOW-END FEES FOR LEGAL ASSISTANCE WITH YOUR NATURALIZATION APPLICATION SHOULD NOT EXCEED $200. ATTORNEYS CANNOT TAKE ON THIS TYPE OF PROCEDURE FOR LESS THAN $1,000, TO PAY THEIR OVERHEAD EXPENSES. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO IT YOURSELF OR FIND A PARALEGAL TO HELP FOR NO MORE THAN $200.

Sorry I should put it clearly regarding the marriage certificate. My question is...I am married only once and living with the same spouse. so do I need to submit my marriage certificate along with N-400?
