  • Conditional Residents Can Directly Apply for Naturalization

    I read this somewhere,

however, is it possible to apply for file N - 400 and I - 751 at the same time? (It means applying for naturalization at the same time you're applying to remove your conditional status)

That would speed up the process a whole lot.

It means, It could take 3-5 years to become a citizen from the date they receive their conditional greencard. If the process is fast and smooth it would take 3 years. But if there are delays, it could take 4-5 years.

Does anyone have any info, input or opinion on this?

You need to apply conditional residence removal between 1 year 9 months and 2 years from the time you get your initial green card.

You need to apply for naturalization 3 years after your initial green card.

Therefore, how can you apply both of them together?
