  • Citizenship interview

hey guys I would really appreciate it if you can answer me my concerns.

I have my interview in a month, I have been studying the civic questions for months. Some of the questions have several answers like the ones below but I do not know if I am supposed to give only ONE answer or all of them, since it doesn't specify like other questions that say "give only one answer"

    2. What does the Constitution do?

    sets up the government
    defines the government
    protects basic rights of Americans

    12. What is the “rule of law”?

    Everyone must follow the law.
    Leaders must obey the law.
    Government must obey the law.
No one is above the law.

    37. What does the judicial branch do?

    reviews laws
    explains laws
    resolves disputes (disagreements)
decides if a law goes against the Constitution

    History Questions

    Hi!
The history questions that ask for only one answer requires you to answer with only one answer.

    What is the Constitution?

The supreme law of the land.

    What does the constitution do?

    Sets up government.

If the question asks for your than one answer, you must give what is asked.

    For example:

There are 13 original states. Name 3.

New York, New Jersey, New Hampshire.

The history questions are important, but not as difficult as the N400 questions. Try to practice answering questions that may arise from your N400 form. The yes and no questions (I think on page 12-16 or so) may also have meanings questions.
    For example:

Are you a communist? What is a communist?

Are you a prostitute? What is a prostitute?

What is the government of the United States?
    A republic.

Are you a Nazi? What is a Nazi?

Are you a habitual drunkard? What is a drunkard?
