Hi,
Me and wife both had Naturalization interviews on Oct 3, 2017. We both passed the tests. My wife received an RFE (response deadline was Nov 2), which asked for job description in a company she worked part-time for a month, which we posted the next day (Oct 4) and was received a day after (Oct 5) at the San Jose office.
Since then, her status hasn't been updated in the online case status page, which still says that an RFE was sent on Oct 3. If we go by 120 days response time from the date our document was received at USCIS, we are looking at first week of February, 2018 for receiving any response from USCIS. On Jan 2, we have sent a letter addressing the Immigration Officer following up to check whether she has received the documents she asked for.
In between, my Oath ceremony date has been scheduled middle of January, 2018.
Since wife's case is pending, is it advisable to postpone my oath ceremony? I want to ensure her application is approved, before I take the Oath.
Your comments would be highly appreciated.
