  • N-400 for self & spouse and N-600 for kids?

I am filing for citizenship now that it's been 5 years since I have been a PR. Is it true that I have to file separate N-400 for self and spouse. And for kids N-600? My kids are under 18 and were not born in USA.

The confusing part is that should I file for N-600 at the same time that I am filing N-400 for myself and spouse?

One of my kid is 15 years and the other is much younger.

What is the processing time for N-600 in California?

Can I send all these together in one envelope?

I am in the same situation like you..From what I know, first parents should apply for citizenship and after they become citizens, they can apply for the US passport for their children directly by providing proof that parents are citizens.

I am not sure whether we still have to apply for N600 nevertheless.
