Yes, the wait times are long for N-400 application especially for Dallas. I filed my N-400 application in 2017 (PD: 23/1/2017). I finally got my interview on May 9, 2018 and had my oath ceremony yesterday - 5/24. It took around 16 months in total. Good luck!
