I filed the N-400 form out of Houston TX on June 12, 2017. Been in line for interview since July 13, 2017. In February of this year I moved to Phoenix Arizona. I filed the online address change form and received a confirmation number.
In March I was able to speak to a tier 2 officer who confirmed that the address change was completed, however he seemed to stumble when confirming it.
On April 25, 2018 i again was able to speak to a tier 2 officer who this time said he would make a notation on my file regarding the move. The next day my heart dropped as I had an email from USCIS stating there have been an update on my case.
I couldn?t believe it as I thought it was my interview being scheduled. To my dismay the ?update? read ?on April 26, 2018 we started the interview scheduling process for your N400 form...? rather than on July 13, 2017 we started...
Why would it change and ?update? to the same thing but different dates? I sure hope I didn?t go to the back of the line. I just returned from an infopass appointment to where the io confirmed the change of address however was very disinterested in answering anything else.
