Hi there

Can someone who applied for Citizenship in NJ share their timeline or experience? I have submitted my application on Oct 3. I did the info pass and visited the office in Newark for further inquiry. The officer said that soon but she could not provide me with any timeline. It's quite frustrating. tks a lot!

I applied in Nov 23, interview scheduled 06/28. Those who applied at January 2018 are already citizens!
I think they do it LIFO (Last In First Out)!!!

Oct 14th - Mailed Paperwork
November - Bio
June 6th - Interview @ Mount Laurel
August 30th - Oath

Feb 2018 Application

Over 5 months past the 5 yr period after Green Card when applied.
Applied Online last week of Feb 2018.
Field Office is Newark.
Fingerprints done on 3rd week of March 2018.
No update since, except an email once every month saying, "we are still reviewing your case, no updates at this point".
Timeline initially said 11 months and now says 7 months but in both cases the timeline month shown was Jan 2019.

Please share more experiences. Its definitely NOT last in first out or LIFO.
