I'm not sure what you mean by eligibility date. I had a temp Green Card from 2007-2009 and then finally got my Green Card which expires in 2020. I should have applied long ago but never had the funds.

oh then never mind, since you have been GC holder for way more than 5 years.

FYI, my question was referring to what basis you are filing for Citizenship e.g. US Permanent Resident for 5 years or US Permanent Resident married to USC spouse for 3 years etc.

You can file 90 days before you hit the date above, e.g. 5 year on your GC...

I, and many others, filed N400 before hitting 5 year, so I was wondering the various status dates in reference to your 5 year date.
