Last January I applied for a I-90, my daughter needed to replace her Green Card. She's 14y years old but her GC will expire in 2023. My husband and I can apply for citizenship already, but do I need to wait for my daughter's green card to apply for the citizenship of the three of us?

She cannot apply for naturalization. If on the day one of you becomes a US citizen (takes the oath), she is still under 18 and living in the US with you, she will automatically become a US citizen at that moment. No application is necessary, and it makes no difference whether she has a new green card or old green card or expired green card at that time.Originally posted by YmaiznR2001 View PostLast January I applied for a I-90, my daughter needed to replace her Green Card.
