  • Accidentally sent N-400 Form using the Wrong Address

Went to Goin' Postal today and I wasn't too sure what system they used for delivering packages. I thought that the manager would be able to confirm which address to use. He said the UPS one was fine and so I just went with it and delivered the form via Priority Mail. I come home to check the tracking, only to find that they're delivering the form using USPS, and I got pretty terrified.
Will USCIS redirect it (or even accept it for that matter)? Will USCIS just cash the check and tell me that my application has been rejected? Will USPS even deliver it?

I really need to have some idea of what will happen, since I can't contact USCIS until the weekend passes (and the mail is going to arrive on Monday or Tuesday).

(Also, yes, I panicked while at the place and wasn’t thinking straight when I chose USPS Priority Mail and wrote down the UPS address)

    The two addresses:

    USPS Address

    USCIS
    P.O. Box 660060
    Dallas, TX 75266

    FedEx, UPS, and DHL Deliveries:

    USCIS
    Attn: N-400
    2501 S State Hwy 121 Business
    Suite 400
    Lewisville, TX 75067

My daughter had this situation occur in the past and upon recognition, the package was routed within USCIS to the correct adress; it just took a little longer. They did not reject her application after cashing the checks either. Please be patient and check your account for the check to be debited and be patient. When this happened, she tried calling but to no avail.

I am not a lawyer, this is just from a personal experience.

      Hi All,
The same exact thing happened to me. I went to Office Depot to deliver and I sent the package by USPS to the FedEx address. Its almost been three weeks and I have not heard anything. The payment has not posted on my credit card. I know it was delivered, but when I called USCIS they do not have a case open yet. How long did it take for your daughter to find out they were going to process it? And Sable06 did yours ever process or did you have to re-submit. USCIS told me to wait 30 days to re-submit and I'm anxiously waiting.
