Case needs review

Hi everyone,
My husband just got his interview/civic test on 09/26/18. He said everything went well (he has been in the States for 20+ years and speaks fluent English), but he wasnt granted an approval. The IO said his case needs more review. We are worried and hopefully anyone can share their positive experience after having their case under review with us

Hello Dear,

There is no need to worry because it said your case needs more review. I went to my interview on september 10th and i passed my civic test but i did not get approval right away. The office IO told me my case has to be reviewed further. 2 weeks after my interview i called the USCIS to check if there is any update on my case and the customer service told the IO has recommend me for approval so my oath will be schedule soon and Guess what i got my oath letter today . i will be swearing in on october 19th. So tell your husband to be positive and enjoy himself knowing he has done his part and leave the rest to USCIS but i promise you will be smiling soon.

The thing is he never got any paper explained his case needed review...the IO only said so and never said anything else. I checked his case online, it only showed " interview was scheduled"
