I've sponser my Fiance to come to united state, but I have a question that I don't have the answer to it. Hope you folks can help me here. How long do he have to wait to apply for us citizen after he arrive to USA. When sponser as Fiance the waiting time of become us citizen longer then married or it about the same time?

First - does your Fiance have a green card? If your Fiance does not have a green card holder he can never apply for citizenship.

Second - Do you have a green card and/or are you in the applying for citizenship?

When someone marries a citizen, they can apply for green card. And then ther is a waiting period before they can apply for citizenship.

I am a US citizen for almost two year already, and my fiance is now in a process of applying for greencard. So, did you happen to know what exactly period of waiting time he have to wait after he got his greencard to become a us citizen?

if he remains married to you and retains his green card, 3 years after getting his green card. Otherwise its 5 years
