How long shuold i wait for apply a citizenship if i have a criminal record? (i've been convicted a crime in 09-2003) and if i apply now do i have a chance to get citizenship? Or i need an attorney to help then i will have a better chance?

Thats a complex question because it depends on what the crime was and in which state you were convicted. That also affects wheter or not you should use an attorney. In some case an attorney will not be bale to help at all as certain crimes make you permanently ineligible for citizenship but a consulatation to see whetehr your crime is an issue might be a good idea. Make sure you ask the attorney if he ahs expereince in representing criminal aliens, many immigration attorneys don't.
