Need your advise on applying for Citizenship

I got my citizenship in Oct'06. My spouse is now eligible to apply for US Citizenship. In the last 5 years, she had about 4 trips to India. In an average, she was out-of-country for about 2 to 3 months in each trip, except the last trip. In the last trip she was out-of-country for about 7 1/2 months due to a health reason, came back to US in Sep'06. So in total, she was out-of-country for about 420 days in the last 5 years.

Is it a good idea to apply for citizenship now? Do you see any potential issue? Should this case be handled carefully? If so, please give your input such as what documents need to submit, etc.

Anytime you are out of the USA for six months or more,the INS asks for a detailed explanation plus exact dates of departure and arrival.If you saved your air-ticket copies that might help.Other than that,to my knowledge,ther should'nt be any problem
