CA: How long between interview and oath ceremony?

My interview is on Feb 14th 2007. Can someone tell me what the average time between interview and oath ceremony in CA is? Can I travel outside the US between the fingerprinting and oath ceremony?

Where in California are you? I am in SF bay area and took oath 3 weeks after interview date. But, you can opt for later date if you would like. Yes, you can travel outside of the US before taking oath.

I chose the date for oath ceremony at the end of the interview.

In Oakland, CA my interview was on Jan 25th. Received the form for the Oath Ceremony (after the interview) in San francisco on Feb 22nd. They asked me if Feb 22nd is Ok..I said no problem!

My interview was today, May 3'rd and my Oath ceremony is scheduled for June 5'th. So, I would say avg of a month.
