Elections and Citizenship Processing.

Hi All,
I heard that these days because of the coming presidential elections ,they are going to expedite the processing of the citizenship applications. Is that true? If so that would be a great thing as it will make the process faster.

one reasoning behind this being..they get newbies to vote for them with their newly acquired citi and increase the % of voters....who knows !! Nah....
