Hi ,
I hope anyone can shed some light on my situation,
Background info :
Question :
1-should I file N400, is there harm in doing so parallel to N600 ?
2-Does anyone know if N600 applies to me or not ? it's a question of "aging out" , the USCIS was delayed in processing N400 for parent or something ...
Sad notes:
-My sister became 18 only 3 days before my mother got her certificate of citizenship, hence the same situation applies to her.
Thank you ,
David
ps: great website at least someone cares!
I hope anyone can shed some light on my situation,
Background info :
- I immigrated in 1999 with my mother who is married to a US citizen.
- Mother applied for N400 in 2002. had her interview in 2003.
- I turned 18 in 2004.
- Mother got her certificate of citizenship in May 2006. (it got lost a few years I guess)
- I applied for N600 in June 2006.
- Boston online says they are processing N600 FOR March, 2007, 9 months after mine.
- I went to Boston for 4th time and they told me to wait another 60 days.
- I am not sure the N600 will be accepted since I turned 18 before my mother became a citizen.
