  • N400 was submitted 2 days earlier than 90 days

I just noticed that my N-400 form was submited 92 days to 5 full years. Will I be denied because of this mistake? What should I do now? My check is not be cleared. May I cancel the check and reapply the N-400?
Does anyone know how to deal with this? I really appreciate!

it depends on the date they received it. they may or may not send it back to you. do not cancel the check, just wait.

Thank you very much for the reply.

I just called the customer service. They said I have wait and see if they are going to either reject it or process it.

But my concern is: if they will process my case, will it be possible that I still be denied at the time of interview? I do see a case that got a denial after the interview because of a few days earlier than 90 days of submision.

Is it any possible that I can reapply the N-400 now?

Cases get rejected either at the time of receiving or interview, all depends on the immigration officer who handle the case.
They may want to know you send the forms at least after 4-years and 9-months. Form has your signature with date plus mailing date (registered/ certified mail, doesn’t matter).
It’s up to you to cancel your check (no refund once they handled your papers). Check with customer service for re-applying.

They will most likely just NOT PROCESS it, and not go through the whole thing, just to deny it at the interview.

Wait and see if you get the receipts and the checks are cashed.
