  • Change of Address

I am applying for my Citizenship.
Since I received my GC, I have been updating my address with the INS.
I never received any documentation stating that they received my mailed application to change.
Now, I am not sure what address they have for me right now.
If the address they have is not my current address (which has been the same for couple of years), would this cause a problem?

    Any ideas?

They may not respond you for corresponding regarding address change (i.e., for AR-11) but keep updating their records. Hence, it is important to keep all copies of correspondence with them, in case to prove it (for example forms, mailing receipts, etc). Other than this, there are other documents like address on driving license, address changed with UPS, your mails (bills, pay stubs, other receipts, etc), IRS record, bank statements, etc. You can also find out through USCIS customer service.
