Appeared for Fingerprinting- but status still says 'Notice has been sent ...' why ?
Hi All,
We received the N-400 notice in May 2007 which had a finger print dates in Mid-June. We went earlier by a week as we had planned to travel to India and they took the finger prints for us in the first week of June 2007. But we have not received any reply after that.Whenever we check the status either online or by phone ,we receive a message which says that the notice has been sent to us in the month of May 2007 and we had to act as given in that form.It does not say that fingerprint has been registered or being verified..Why so ? Is this coorect ?
I am worried because we went ahead of the time for finger prints and hoping that they have not marked us absent on that particular date .Please reply.
