when to apply for citizenship?

HI,
i got my green card though marrage in aug of 2005.
i later got divorced. If i get married now to US citizen (different person), does 3 year or still 5 year rule applies to file for citizenship?
If i get married now would i be able to apply for citizenship in aug of 2008?

you must have remained married to the SAME US citizen, for the 3 year to apply. Now, you must wait until you have been a resident for 5 years.
