i passed the citizenship interview today. but unlikely other people claim in this forum, they didnt ask me to take the oath today neither gave me an appointment, the officer asked me to sign the photos, congratulated me and gave me the n 652 letter that say "congratulations! your application has been recommended for aproval...." he told me i was going to get a letter with the oath appointment date within 90 days... did i do something wrong? why he didnt ask me to take the oath the same day as other people claim they have? im in chicago. are they going to interview me again? should i bring my husband to the next interview? or is it that chicago dont do oath ceremonies the same day?
when the letter says "at this time it appears that you have established your elegibility for naturalization..." so that means that they will interview me again? or that letter is given to everybody? so why did the officer congratulated me? i'm confussed, my husband is too. usually how long it takes in chicago to get the oath appointment? we both thank you if you can give us some info.
