One of the eligibility requirements for citizenship is that the applicant should be physically present in the US for 30 months in the last 5 years.
My question is - If someone meets this requirement at the time of filing the citizenship application but after filing the application, travels abroad for some time and doesn't meet this requirement at the time of interview or oath, would that be a problem?
I assume that one has to meet this requirement (of being physical present 30 months) at the time of filing N-400.
Is my understanding correct?
