Real Estate and Citizenship

Hi,

I don't know where exactly to post this Qs in this site.
I already got my Citizenship in January. I want to invest in Real Estate in India. Can I do it.? Is it the same like for NRI's or are we under special category now.

If anyone has invested in real estate in India after Citizenship please Help...

You need to apply for the PIO card at the Indian embasssy in US.
(Person of Indian origin) .Once you have that, you are eligible to purchase
residential property in India but not agricultural land.
