I attended my interview today at the Phoenix USCIS office and everything went well till it came to the point where I was asked about the Selective Services. I had no idea about it and I answered that I did not register (as I had no recollection whatsoever).
I was asked to contact the Selective Services and obtain an Advisory Opinion as I failed to register and additional letter as to the reasons for not registering (willfully).
After I got access to a computer, I checked on sss.gov and noticed that I did register and have a Selective Services Id. (Damn!!)
Now, I am not sure what the next step should be. Anybody in a similar situation and any help on this will be really appreciated.
